We start with a high-density polyurethane foam core, engineered and tested for the right balance of firm support and plush cushioning. The core is wrapped in a smooth, water-resistant polyester inner liner that allows easy movement and makes swapping the outer cover simple. On the Wedge and Ramp, the cover is a soft microfiber blend of nylon and cotton — it feels like velvet but is far more durable and machine-washable. This patent-pending fabric also grips like Velcro, so you can stack and stick shapes together without slipping. We offer a range of fabrics on other products, including plush velvets, faux leather, and premium SynLeather.

Positioning makes a real difference. For many people, the right angle improves comfort and access and helps the body stay supported. Adjusting the angle with the Ramp or Wedge helps align the hips so positions feel more comfortable to reach and hold — and Liberator Shapes make dozens of supportive positions possible.

If you have room for a suitcase, you have room for Liberator. Depending on the height of your bed, the Wedge or Ramp will stow conveniently under your bed for quick and spontaneous access.

When standing upright, the Ramp stores easily in the closet and occupies less floor space than an average suitcase. They also make wonderful props for lounging, reading, or watching TV. And if you own a chaise, you won't have to worry about storage at all, because it reads as sculptural furniture when it's not in use.

All Liberator covers are stain-resistant and easy to clean. The sumptuous velvet cover zips right off and washes in cold water. The inner, water-resistant nylon liner can be wiped down with a damp cloth or sponge. When not in use, you can keep your gear from collecting dust by storing it in an optional nylon gear bag. Your Liberator will last you a long, long time.

After use, machine-wash your Throw on a cold, delicate cycle, then tumble dry on low. Like a favorite pair of jeans, it gets softer with every wash.

We have made it easy to set up your Liberator. Peel back the roll of compressed film and your Liberator will expand to its original size after you peel back the compression film. Please allow up to 48 hours for the foam to recover full firmness. Do not use scissors, as you might damage the foam.

Step 1: Unroll the foam by finding the end of the film. Do NOT use scissors. Remove all plastic by hand.

Step 2: Dispose of all plastic.

Step 3: Carefully slide the cover (folded separately) over your shape or furniture, making sure it's aligned properly with the curvature or angles of the product. Zip the cover closed and enjoy!
